A breath of fresh air and a walk along the breach is great way to recharge before going back to your mountain of work. It's also veerrry close to the procrastination line, so you need a time that break 😂. #blacksdoswim #beachwalk #workworkwork
My summer read last year was Shonda Rhimes' 'Year of Yes.' It documenents her journey of what happened when she started to say yes to things that normally stressed her out too much. Things like public speaking, mingling, owning successes and expectations. Many of the things in the book resonated with me and so in January, I decided to make 2018 my year of yes. . Guys, it's been hectic 😂. I'm often quite grateful that I decided to do the various tasks when they come to the end. It's ususlly a good call with key learning and reminders - that's the easy part. The problem is the actual decision to do it and the in between. It's a lot. . A lot of anxiety, irritation at my anxiety, disbelief that I'm actually doing it, wine and frantically searching for the Exit! . A Lot. But it's only April and a deal is a deal. So, wish me luck. . "Yes to everything scary. Yes to everything that takes me out of my comfort zone. Yes to everything that feels like it might be crazy. Yes to everything that feels out of character. Yes to everything that feels goofy. Yes to everything. Everything. Say yes. Yes." #blacksdoswim #travelblogger #yearofyes
Walking in the stillness of nature surrounded by flowers, birds and the sounds of streams and waterfalls. Even though it had been raining and started off cloudy, it's always so incredibly beautiful spending time in the mountains... My #HappyPlace 💕 #blacksdoswim #MeetSouthAfrica #loveoverberg #Greyton
